CSU {Hacks!}

Every Tuesday evening (6-8pm), Dr. Hatley and several Computer Science majors gather for several hours to hack (typically in STC 313) …which at this point means to improve their Java programming Skills.  These sessions are affectionately called #evening-code.

The ultimate goal of CSU {Hacks!} is to allow students to use their programming skills to brainstorms and create prototypes of any computing project they wish…or any suggested by others.  Once students are ready, CSU {Hacks!} plans to occur on a monthly basis and will include 24-hours of nothing but brainstorming, designing, and coding.  This is one way to promote entrepreneurial-ism in computing at CSU.  Students have been extremely excited and dedicated.  CSU {Hacks!} and #evening-code are powered by LAIA.
